Scott “The Captain” Diehl
The elder statesman of Low Down and Dirty
Hails from the thriving metropolis of Coopersburg PA. Scott got bit by dirt track racing at a young age and can remember going to races at the now defunct Allentown Fair Speedway. That is where his love of sprint cars started. Today he calls Grandview Speedway his home track and loves to travel to other race tracks in the northeast. Scott likes Sprint Cars, Modifieds, and all the small car divisions that run on dirt. His passion is non-wing sprint cars and enjoys trips to Indiana and the USAC Eastern Swing.
Joe “The Big A” Adams
One of the founding members of the Low Down and Dirty crew
Joe has been involved with racing his whole life. Growing up in Bechtelsville PA only a stone throws from the Grandview Speedway. Like the rest of the Low Down and Dirty crew Joe loves dirt track racing and you can find him roaming around big tracks and all the way down to quarter midget tracks. He likes them all. Joe runs his own business Joe Adams Lettering which keeps him connected to racing as he is one of the premier racecar lettering artist in the area.
Brain “Whippy” Whitman
Brian is known by most as “Whippy”
Whippy”, a name given to him at a young age growing up in Binghamton New York. As a young lad he was always going to the races with his family at tracks in New York like Five Mile Point. His love of dirt track racing was handed down to him from his father who was affiliated with many tracks in the Empire State. Whippy grew up on dirt modifieds but after moving to the Allentown PA area started following central PA Sprint Car racing and he loves his sprint cars. He also loves non-wing sprint car racing. Whippy probably has the most extensive rolodex of dirt race car drivers known to man and he prides himself with extensive records of all the races he attends.
Eric “Chainlink” Whitby
Eric is the race car driver from the Low Down and Dirty crew.
Currently you can find him at small car race tracks in eastern PA with his 600 wingless micro. As a past 600 modified champion Eric has enjoyed success in racing and is always looking for a new challenge. Eric grew up in the Allentown PA area and as a kid can remember going to races at the Dorney Park Speedway. A 1/5th of a mile asphalt bull ring. In his younger years he attended tracks like Nazareth, Penn National, Grandview, Reading, and others which gave him his roots in dirt track racing. If you want to know the story on how he got the nickname “Chainlink”, ask him next time you see him at the races. It is a great story.
Todd “Sauce” Tenetylo
Faithful listener turned into one of the crew.
Todd began his love with local racing at Dorney Park and Nazareth Speedway. Todd was ‘bitten’ by the dirt track bug watching Doug Esh win the rain delayed 2006 National Open. Since then, you can find him roaming a track and pits every weekend, from Kutztown and Grandview to Central PA, or out with the Low Down and Dirty crew on one of their excursions to a weekend show. Williams Grove is his favorite track and is a big fan of the Pa Posse and 410 sprint car racing as a whole. Seen but never heard, Todd can be found searching for important statistical information, finding breaking news and is a key component behind the scenes at Low Down and Dirty.
